A cold spell is currently affecting a large part of the country. Almost all regions will experience sub-zero temperatures, snow and even freezing rain

That’s the forecast from Météo France. For the moment, only the south and west of France are escaping this climatic phenomenon, which is not so rare at this time of year, but which has been the exception in recent years.

Bear in mind that Météo France seems to be predicting a week of identical weather. So be careful if you have to drive in these departments. Snow is expected, as well as freezing rain.
