SNCF flash sale: 500,000 TGV tickets for as little as 29 euros until 27 June

These tickets, valid for travel this summer, are available in First Class for just 1 euro more. Although trains are filling up fast for the summer holidays (with 6.5 million tickets already sold), there are still plenty of seats available.

As fares rise, SNCF is launching a flash sale with 500,000 TGV Inoui tickets from 29 euros, valid until Thursday 27 June for travel in July and August.

First class and destinations

For just €1 more, travellers can enjoy First Class. This offer is an opportunity to explore destinations such as Bordeaux for a wine escapade, Lyon for a gastronomic adventure or Strasbourg for an architectural discovery, as highlighted on the SNCF Connect website.

The importance of anticipation

The SNCF stresses the importance of planning ahead, not only to benefit from the best fares, but also to ensure that seats are available, especially when travelling in a group or during major departures. This Olympic year makes this even more important.

The Trainline platform revealed that last year travellers were able to save an average of 40% by booking their tickets 17 weeks in advance (when sales opened) and 14% by booking 4 weeks in advance.
