Laurent Boyer to be tried in September for domestic violence and harassment

The television and radio host, known for his shows Graines de star and Fréquenstar, will face trial in September 2025 in the Paris criminal court on charges of domestic violence and harassment.

Serious accusations raised by his ex-partner

The Paris public prosecutor’s office confirms that Laurent Boyer, 67, will be tried for several offenses, including harassment of a partner resulting in more than eight days of work incapacity, invasion of privacy through the posting of sexually explicit images, and habitual domestic violence leading to work incapacity. The investigation was launched after a complaint was filed by his ex-partner, who accused him of creating social media accounts to publish intimate photos.

A prominent career in television and radio

Laurent Boyer made a significant mark on French television during the 1990s and 2000s as a leading host on M6, with popular shows such as Graines de star and Fréquenstar, the latter of which was adapted to radio in 2019. From 2011 to 2015, he also hosted Midi en France on France 3 and played an active role in presenting the Téléthon.
