Paris: five people injured in knife fight during music festival

An altercation involving several individuals occurred last night on the fringes of the Fête de la Musique. Four people are currently in police custody

On the night of Friday 21 to Saturday 22 June, a brawl broke out in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, injuring five people, according to H24 NEWS  information from the public prosecutor’s office.

At around 2am, the police were called to a public street altercation. Five people were stabbed and treated by emergency services, one of them seriously. The latter is no longer in danger as of Saturday morning.

An investigation into the attempted homicide has been handed over to the 14th arrondissement police station. Four people are in custody. The public prosecutor’s office states that “investigations are continuing, in particular to determine the exact sequence of events and the degree of involvement of each of the suspects”.
