On Monday, important personalities were unveiled for the final Olympic torch relays
Seine-Saint-Denis will be the scene of the final day of the Olympic torch relays, with a number of high-profile personalities taking part. Snoop Dogg, among others, will carry the flame on Friday July 26 in Saint-Denis, just before the Olympic opening ceremony, the town’s mayor told AFP. In addition to this role, the American rapper will cover the Games for NBC.
“That the flame will pass through Saint-Denis on its last day before the opening ceremony underlines the importance of Seine-Saint-Denis in the Olympic spirit,” said PS mayor Mathieu Hanotin. Other torchbearers include actress Laetitia Casta, rapper Mc Solaar and former pole-vaulter Sergei Bubka.
