Vigilance météorologique : 25 départements on alert for Thursday
This Thursday, October 17, 25 departments in the southern half of France have been placed on orange or red alert due to dangerous weather phenomena such as rain-flooding, thunderstorms and flooding.
Six departments are under red alert:
– Haute-Loire, Loire, Rhône, Ardèche, Alpes-Maritimes and Lozère are at maximum alert level.
– Ardèche and Alpes-Maritimes are particularly at risk of flooding from heavy rain.
– The Rhône, Loire, Haute-Loire and Lozère have been placed on red alert due to the risk of major flooding.
