Marseille: the mastermind behind a teenage hitman unmasked
A blood-curdling news item. A 14-year-old boy was involved in the murder of a VTC driver in Marseille. This tragedy sheds light on the actions of a mastermind nicknamed Hacène L., alias “the H”, a 23-year-old currently incarcerated in the Beaumettes prison. His modus operandi? He recruited very young hitmen to carry out his contracts, before reporting them to the authorities himself.
A profile that stuns investigators
Hacène L. is suspected of having orchestrated several assassination attempts, both in Marseille and in the Hauts-de-Seine region. According to information from H24 MEDIA, no fewer than four cases have been attributed to him, each time following the same pattern: recruitment via social networks, promises of sums of money, then a calculated betrayal by alerting the police once the murder had failed.
Young people lured by money
In June 2023, while in solitary confinement, he allegedly solicited a 17-year-old teenager, offering him 25,000 euros for a first murder and 50,000 euros for a second. But the plan failed. True to form, “the H” contacted the authorities and revealed the identity of the young killer he had commissioned.
A sponsor at the heart of a macabre mechanism
The latest murder attributed to his network claimed the life of a VTC driver, a collateral victim of this criminal drift. What leaves investigators stunned is the ease with which Hacène L., even from his cell, manages to weave his web, luring teenagers into the trap of organized crime.
With this frightening case, the city of Marseille is once again confronted with the brutality of settling scores, revealing an even darker side of local banditry, where minors become sacrificial pawns on the chessboard of gang leaders.
