The victims, aged 2, 11 and 13, were found lifeless after emergency services were called at around 12:30 pm. Unfortunately, firefighters were only able to pronounce them dead on arrival. The circumstances of this tragedy remain unclear for the moment, and an investigation has been opened to determine the exact causes of this tragic discovery.

Family tragedy in Haute-Savoie: investigation launched after bodies of three children found
The Bonneville public prosecutor’s office has opened an inquiry following the tragic discovery of the bodies of three children in Taninges, Haute-Savoie, and has entrusted the investigation to the gendarmerie. The hypothesis of a family tragedy is currently favored, and the Bonneville public prosecutor, Boris Duffau, has visited the scene to follow the progress of the investigations.
The authorities are actively searching for one of the parents. According to our sources, the mother of the three children is currently on the run and being actively sought by the police.
Some sixty gendarmes have been mobilized for the investigation, including members of the Bonneville company, the Chambéry research unit, the Escadron départemental de la sécurité routière (EDSR) and the Peloton de gendarmerie de haute montagne (PGHM). Technicians from the Criminal Identification Unit (CIC) of Haute-Savoie are also on site to take samples and analyze the elements found.
The Choucas 74 helicopter, from the Chamonix Air Section, is also taking part in the search, carrying out overflights to supplement the efforts of gendarmes on the ground.
