A Turkish company has acquired the ready-to-wear clothing brand Naf Naf

Migiboy Tekstil has invested more than €1.5 million to acquire Naf Naf and has undertaken to preserve the jobs of 521 people, or 90% of the workforce, as well as 100 of its own shops

The women’s ready-to-wear brand, which was placed in receivership in September 2023, has been taken over by the Turkish fabric manufacturer, according to a court ruling reported by AFP.

Last May, Naf Naf’s management told AFP that Migiboy Tekstil’s offer demonstrated a genuine desire to take over the company. The Bobigny Commercial Court pointed out that Naf Naf, which was already heavily in debt as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, had also suffered a decline in footfall in its trading areas, as well as the impact of inflation and rising raw material costs.
