Less than a month after being shot in the chest, Kendji Girac has spoken out for the first time on his Instagram account. In a poignant message published on Friday 10 May, he evokes the indelible memory of his victory on ‘The Voice’ ten years ago, expressing his sadness at not being able to celebrate this anniversary on stage as he would have wished

The singer of ‘L’Andalouse’ sincerely apologises to his family and his team for any distress he may have caused them, acknowledging the pain he may have caused. He also thanked his fans for their unwavering support during his ordeal, saying that their love gave him the strength to get back on his feet.

Kendji Girac gives reassuring news about his state of health, assuring us that he is taking care of himself and resting to come back stronger. He expressed his gratitude for being alive, affirming his love and gratitude to his loved ones and fans.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend was keen to correct reports that Kendji had blackmailed her into committing suicide. She categorically denied these allegations, claiming that she had never been a victim of violence on his part.
