Kidnapping alert: a 17-day-old baby kidnapped in Aulnay-sous-Bois
The National Criminal Investigation Department issued an abduction alert on Tuesday 22 October following the worrying disappearance of a 17-day-old baby in Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis). The baby, named Santiago, was born prematurely and requires ‘essential’ medical treatment.
According to police information, the abduction took place on Monday 21 October between 11pm and 11.30pm at the Robert Ballanger hospital maternity unit.
Description of the child and suspects
Santiago is a newborn baby with blond hair, wearing a brown t-shirt (size 6 months) and thick white velvet pyjamas. The main suspects are his parents.
The father, aged 23, was wearing dark jeans, a white T-shirt, a light blue denim jacket and a black overcoat.
The mother, aged 25, was wearing a white jumper, a light blue sleeveless jacket and a green skirt.
