Bruno Pelat, partner of former Miss France and Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere, taken into custody on suspicion of domestic violence
On Tuesday 24 September, Bruno Pelat was taken into police custody on suspicion of domestic violence. On the morning of Friday 27 September, he will be referred to the Paris public prosecutor’s office and presented before the public prosecutor, before an immediate appearance in the capital’s criminal court in the afternoon, according to information reported by Le Parisien and confirmed by H24 NEWS.
Iris Mittenaere’s 31-year-old partner, who has hosted several television shows, is facing charges of ‘domestic violence without TIW’ (total incapacity for work) and ‘illegal use of narcotics’.
Bruno Pelat’s police custody, initially held at a police station in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, was extended on Wednesday by the public prosecutor. According to the initial investigation, the events reported via a victim support platform took place at Pelat’s home on Monday night. The investigations are continuing, as indicated by the Paris public prosecutor’s office.
