Allegations of rape by minors in Courbevoie have led to the opening of an investigation into aggravated rape. A 12-year-old girl has lodged a complaint alleging that she was sexually assaulted and subjected to anti-Semitic remarks by three under-age boys on Saturday 15 June at around 7.30pm. According to her account, while she was in a park near her home with a friend, the three suspects approached her and forced her to follow them into a shed, according to a report in Le Parisien, confirmed by H24 MEDIA
The complainant said that she was beaten, forced to undergo penetration and fellatio, all accompanied by death threats and insults directed at her religious beliefs. After receiving first aid from the fire brigade, her testimony triggered an investigation by the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office on the evening of the alleged incident.
Initially handled by the Courbevoie services, the case was quickly transferred to the Hauts-de-Seine family protection brigade. Three youngsters aged between 12 and 13 were arrested and taken into custody midday on Monday. They have been charged with aggravated rape of a 15-year-old girl, aggravated sexual assault, attempted extortion, invasion of privacy, death threats and anti-Semitic violence and abuse.
The public prosecutor plans to request that the suspects be remanded in custody. The three suspects are due to appear in court on the afternoon of Tuesday 18 June in connection with the opening of a judicial investigation.
