Paris: one person shot dead in the 20th arrondissement, while the suspect is on the run

An individual fired at a terrace in the 20th arrondissement of Paris on the afternoon of Wednesday 15 May, causing the death of one person, before fleeing on a scooter

The incident occurred at around 3.30pm at the intersection of rue Piat and rue des Envierges, as reported by H24 MEDIA, citing a police source and confirming information from Actu 17.

Police, emergency services, the borough council and the public prosecutor’s office were quickly mobilised to the scene of the incident. Witnesses were questioned by the police.
